La Marzocco have been involved with The London Coffee Festival since its inception seven years ago and 2018 is set to be the bigger than ever.

La Marzocco features across the entire four floors of the festival, returning with the La Marzocco Kitchen, The True Artisan Café and the La Marzocco Roasters Village; bringing together more roasteries and cafes than ever before. The London Coffee Festival also sees La Marzocco sponsor Latte Art Live, bringing the magical Modbar to the stage. They’ll also play headline sponsor of the VIP Hospitality Suite, continue as a proud gold sponsor of the finals of the UK Barista Championship Finals as well as celebrating the UK launch of their latest machine, the Leva.

The True Artisan Café TM is an original “pop-up” rotating coffee shop concept that La Marzocco created to celebrate local, independent coffee communities. The format made its debut at London Coffee Festival 2012, taking home an award for “Key Feature” and one for “Best Stand Design” and has since been a firm festival highlight. Participants are asked to create and serve a signature drink at the with all proceeds going toward the events official charity of choice: Project Waterfall.

The True Artisan Café will also host the UK Launch of La Marzocco’s latest creation, the Leva. La Marzocco reimagines what a leva espresso machines can be, bringing with it a design that focuses not just on the physical beauty, but also on the satisfaction only found in a truly mechanical system, combines with the most innovative features and technology available in the market. Baristas will work with the Leva on The True Artisan Café whilst La Marzocco will provide hands on demonstrations for inquisitive visitors.

The La Marzocco Roasters Village provides guests with a unique opportunity to try coffees from roasters across the country, all in one fantastic space. The Roasters Village will be split over two floors of the Old Truman Brewery. Pulling espresso’s on La Marzocco’s Linea Mini will be a roster of over 15 speciality roasters.

La Marzocco are proud to bring back The La Marzocco Kitchen where guests can pre-book a 30 minute Home Barista courses. These pre-booked slots cost a small amount of £5 with all moneys going towards Project Waterfall’s continued efforts. Home Barista trainees will be lucky enough to be in the vert capable hands of some of La Marzocco’s friends and partners, including London School of Coffee.

2018 witnesses the return of the semi-finals and finals of the UKBC’s to The London Coffee Festival. As Gold Sponsors, La Marzocco bring award winning equipment to the championships, the Strada AV. The Strada has always been evolving over time based on barista feedback, which makes it the perfect match for the Barista Championship stage.

For those VIP guests at the festival they are invited to kick back in the La Marzocco VIP Hospitality Suite, where they will be invited to trial incredible coffees from a unique line up showcasing top-quality roasters from the UK. VIP guests can also visit the Secret Garden for a delicious barbecue courtesy of Espresso Solutions and custom Cocktails by Grey Goose.

Always one for continuing the fun; La Marzocco will also be hosting evening events on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th April at Juju’s Bar & Stage on the same site as The London Coffee Festival.
